Joy

When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.

The gloom of the world is but a shadow. Behind it, yet within our reach, is joy.

When you are standing in the love of God, every cell in your body jumps for joy. You breathe in and out with the entire universe.

God says, Please, my child, help me. Help me to spread love and laughter and joy and compassion. As you do this … you discover joy.

I’m learning that recognizing and leaning into the discomfort of vulnerability teaches us how to live with joy, gratitude and grace.

Authentic joy is not a euphoric state or a feeling of being high. Rather, it is a state of appreciation that allows us to participate fully in our lives.

We people who care must be attractive, must be filled with joy, so that others recognize that caring, that helping and being generous are not a burden, they are a joy.

Share your joy and bring harmony among all things in creation, making them your partners in joy.

I have yet to meet a wise person who doesn’t know how to find some joy even in the midst of what is hard, and to smile and laugh easily, including at oneself.
