Joy

Authentic joy is a state of appreciation that allows us to participate fully in our lives. We train in rejoicing in the good fortune of self and others.

Love once said to me ‘I know a song, would you like to hear it?’ And laughter came from every brick in the street and from every pore in the sky. After a night of prayer, He changed my life when he sang ‘Enjoy me.’

When you do things from your soul, you feel a river moving in you, a joy.

I’m learning that recognizing and leaning into the discomfort of vulnerability teaches us how to live with joy, gratitude and grace.

When you are standing in the love of God, every cell in your body jumps for joy. You breathe in and out with the entire universe.

God says, Please, my child, help me. Help me to spread love and laughter and joy and compassion. As you do this … you discover joy.

We people who care must be attractive, must be filled with joy, so that others recognize that caring, that helping and being generous are not a burden, they are a joy.

The gloom of the world is but a shadow. Behind it, yet within our reach, is joy.
