Friendship

The glory of friendship… is the spiritual inspiration that comes to one when you discover that someone else believes in you and is willing to trust you with a friendship.

Friendship is unnecessary, like philosophy, like art, like the universe itself… It has no survival value; rather it is one of those things which give value to survival.

For thy sweet love remembered such wealth brings That then I scorn to change my state with kings.

When two people are at one in their inmost hearts, they shatter even the strength of iron or bronze…

We’re supposed to be holding up one another, supporting each other, having our arm underneath our brother’s arms while walking down the road of life.
